As we prepare to turn the page to Christmas, we’re excited to be able to gather together both in-person and online! Here is a bit more about what to expect this Christmas at St. Clement’s.
Lessons & Carols ~ Sunday, Dec. 18th at 10:30am (in-person & online)
While still technically Advent, we’ll be getting in the Christmas spirit at this combined Sunday service, featuring your favourite sing-along carols, beautiful pieces from our incredible choir and musicians, and Scripture readings that lead us toward the manger.
Quiet Christmas ~ Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 5:30pm (in-person only)
The Christmas season can be full of excitement and cheer… as well as stress, busyness or sadness. If you’d appreciate a gentle space for prayer in the lead-up to Christmas, please join us for Scripture, candlelight, silence and song in this contemplative evening prayer time.
Christmas Eve at 4pm ~ Family Friendly Pageant (in-person & online)
At this relaxed family friendly service, we’re inviting children to help us tell the story of the birth of Jesus in a fun, easy-going approach to a traditional Nativity pageant. We’ll have costumes on hand for all those who come and wish to join in! We’ll also be singing fun carols and celebrating communion together. Come early and take a turn ringing the church bell before the service!
Christmas Eve at 7pm & 9pm ~ Classic Candlelight Service (in-person & online)
Both of our evening services will combine song, prayer, an authentic reflection and the celebration of the eucharist, all enhanced by the beauty of the church sanctuary basked in candlelight as we recall the birth of Jesus.
Christmas Day at 10:30am ~ Classic Worship (in-person & online)
A service of prayer, song, and eucharist. We invite you to spend the morning with us, or tune in via live replay after your Christmas brunch!
New Year's Day at 10:30am ~ Classic Worship (in-person & online)
A classic worship service to start off the new year. Come to our in-person service or tune in online as we begin 2023 together.
We give great thanks as we prepare for this Christmas season and we look forward to welcoming you as we worship together.
